AntiViral Toolkit Pro is the absolute leader in Virus Bulletin tests
Cambridge, UK, April 3, 2000 - According to the results of the following comparative tests of different anti-virus products published in the April issue of the British magazine Virus Bulletin (www.virusbtn.com), Kaspersky Lab's AntiViral Toolkit Pro (AVP) has been awarded with its 12th VB100% award. No other product has achieved such an impressive results since Virus Bulletin started its tests.
We are really delighted to inform our users that the quality of the AntiViral Toolkit Pro they currently use has been confirmed by the results of the independent tests from Virus Bulletin. We welcome the initiative from Virus Bulletin to perform continuous testing because the only way to understand the reliability of a product is to see how good its pedigree is. The tests, which are conducted every two months, show product consistency," said Eugene Kaspersky, Head of anti-virus research at Kaspersky Lab Int.
This time Virus Bulletin tested anti-virus programmes for Windows NT Workstation. Besides the traditional identification of products that are capable of detecting all the viruses currently in-the-wild, the certification scheme has now been improved by searching how good they detect viruses inside archived files. Kaspersky Lab's AVP has passed all these tests confirming its excellence in providing the best anti-virus protection available on the market. AVP has outperformed other competitive products such as Norton AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan, Sophos Anti-Virus, CA InoculateIT, Dr.Web, and eSafe.
