Cambridge, UK, April 25, 2000 - Kaspersky Lab Int., a fast-growing international anti-virus software development company, announces that its flagship anti-virus product has won the anti-virus comparative test conducted by prestigious German computer magazine PC go!
According to the results of the test published in the May 2000 issue of PC go! magazine AVP was the best among 9 other anti-virus products including CA InoculateIT, McAfee VirusScan, Norman Virus Control, Norton AntiVirus, Panda AntiVirus, Ikarus Antivirus, FP-Win and other.
AVP showed the best results in almost all categories. The magazine has emphasised that no other product provides better anti-virus protection.
"We are delighted that the strength and reliability of our product have been confirmed by the PC go! magazine - one of the leading IT publications in Germany. These tests are very helpful because they give users the right to choose not just an anti-virus but the best anti-virus available on the market," said Michael Kalinichenko, Technical Director at Kaspersky Lab.
