A visual representation of a problem appears just a bit more meaningful, and at the same time more comprehensible, than large sheets of texts. Here is a big (or not so big) picture of threats to medium-sized businesses.

Our analytics have to crunch lots of figures, gathered from a multitude of sources, in order to create a broad picture of security threats. “A broad picture” is usually used in a figurative sense, but sometimes not: A visual representation appears just a bit more meaningful, and at the same time more comprehensible, than large sheets of texts.

So here is, for your viewing pleasure, the picture – literally! – representing the current situation on threats to medium-sized businesses. The data for it comes from 23 pages of Kaspersky Lab’s new “IT Security Risks Survey 2014: A business approach to managing data security threats”. Its full version is available here.
