Russian State Customs Committee Chooses AntiViral Toolkit Pro to Protect Their Network

<p><b>Moscow, Russia, July 6, 2000</b> - Kaspersky Lab, an international anti-virus software vendor, announces that according to the results of the tender carried out by the Russian State Customs Committee, the Committee has chosen Kaspersky Lab's AntiViral Toolkit Pro (AVP) to protect their networks and stand-alone computers from computer viruses. In the course of the tender, Kaspersky Lab's products successfully passed two levels of testing procedure in the most sensitive areas of the corporate network. As a result, AVP showed the highest level of anti-virus protection, best results in network management functionality, stability of operating, multi-platform support and price, winning the tender against three other competitive products.

Kaspersky Lab will deliver Russian State Customs Committee 1,200 licenses for the AVP Corporate Suite. This package includes the whole range of AVP products for all the most popular operating systems (Windows, Linux, DOS, OS/2, Novell NetWare, FreeBSD, BSDi), e-mail gateways (MS Exchange Server), firewalls, web-servers.
