Home user product given top marks against six leading antivirus programs
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus Personal has won the Computer Buyer Best Buy award in the March edition of Computer Buyer, a leading magazine for the home user and small business community.
The review tested six leading antivirus programs against a set of criteria that included: detection rates, usability, functionality, reporting and even how products coped when loaded onto a pre-infected PC.
One of the factors that helped Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal to win the award was it's ability to detect every virus that they 'threw' at it as well as every other form of malware that they tested, including Trojans, diallers and spyware. After analyzing the test results the reviewers declared, "In the end we voted for Kaspersky Anti-Virus Personal 5.0.
